Commenting on a Behavior:
If you choose “Annotate Last Behavior” you will be taken to a screen from which you can type more detailed information about the occurrence of the last behavior you recorded for that individual. After you have entered your comment, tap the “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen. This information will be added to the “Individual’s Log” with the behavior you just recorded.
To make a comment about a previously recorded behavior, go the “Individual’s Log.” Locate the behavior you wish to make a comment on by scrolling through the log. Once you have located the behavior, tap on it. You will be taken to a screen from which you can type more detailed information about the occurrence of that behavior. After you have entered your comment, tap the “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen. This information will be added to the “Individual’s Log” with the behavior you just recorded.

Email Individual Data:
The data will be divided into three different sections. The first section is preceded by the heading “ABC Logbook, Data Export.” Here you can choose to include additional information about the title of the export, observer, setting, activity and any additional notes. Please note that if you choose to insert additional information you should be careful not to delete any of the commas, colons or any of the other text that is contained in the export.
The next section is preceded by the heading “Summary Data.” Next to “Total Behavior Count” you will see a brief summary of the total number of behaviors observed for the individual. Following that you will see a more detailed analysis of the specific behaviors observed. You will see the name of the behavior followed by the number of times it was observed, and the percentage of times that behavior occurred in comparison to the other behaviors being observed for that individual.
The third and final section in the data export is labeled “CSV Data.” Under this heading you will see a list of all of the behaviors and group events that have been recorded for an individual in reverse chronological order. This data can be exported into Microsoft Excel. For more information about how to export your data into Excel please see the “transferring data to Excel” section of cbtaonline.com

Email Date Range:
First choose a starting date by using your finger to scroll through the month, day and year. The date you select will be highlighted in blue (as illustrated below). After you have selected your starting date, tap the “Save” button in the upper right corner of the screen. You will be taken to another screen to choose and end date. The same process is used to select your end date as is used to select your starting date.
After you choose your end date and tap the “Save” button, you will be taken to the email screen to enter the address of the person to whom you would like the data to be sent.
Group Event:
When you record a group event, it will be added to the “Group’s Log” as well as in the “Individual Log” for everyone contained in that group.
Enter New Behavior:
Please note: When you add a new behavior for an individual, a note will appear in that individual’s log to indicate the time and date the behavior was added for the individual.
Enter New Individual:
Please note: When you add a new Individual to a group, a note will appear in that group’s log to indicate the time and date the individual was added to the group.
Enter New Group:
After you tap “Add New Group” you will be taken to a new screen where you can type in the name of the new group you wish to create. After you have entered the name of the group tap the “Save” button in the upper right corner of the screen. If you tapped “Add New Group” by accident, and do not wish to create a new group, tap the “Cancel” button in the upper left corner of the screen and you will return to the “Groups List” screen.
Create a New Folder:
After you have entered the name of the folder tap the “Save” button in the upper right corner of the screen. If you tapped “Add New Folder” by accident, and do not wish to create a new folder, tap the “Cancel” button in the upper left corner of the screen and you will return to the “Main” screen.
Editing and Deleting Behavior:
To edit the name of the behavior, select the behavior you wish to change by tapping its name.
You will be taken to a screen that contains a keyboard where you can make changes to the name of the behavior. After you make the changes you wish to make tap the “Save” button in the top right corner of the screen.
You will be taken back to the “Behaviors List” screen. If you would like to edit the names of more behaviors tap the name of that behavior and repeat the steps outlined above. If you are finished editing the behavior names tap the “Done” button in the top right corner of the screen. To delete a behavior from an individual’s “Behaviors List” tap the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the screen. A red dot will appear to the left of the names of all of the behaviors. Tap the red dot next to the behavior you wish to delete and a red “Delete” button will appear to the right of the name of the behavior you selected. Tap the “Delete” button to remove the behavior from the individual’s list of behaviors.
A message will pop up asking you if you are sure you want to delete the behavior. If you want to delete the behavior tap the “Confirm” button, if you do not want to delete the behavior tap the “Cancel” button and you will be taken back to the “Behaviors List” screen.When you delete a behavior, the previously recorded data are NOT deleted. The data will still appear in an individual’s log. Deleting a behavior simply removes that behavior from the individual’s behavior list as an option for future data recording. Please note: When you edit the name of a behavior, a note will appear in that individual’s log to indicate the time and date the behavior was edited.

You will be taken to the “Edit” screen. At the bottom left corner of the screen tap the “Export Group Config” button. On the next screen enter the email address of the individual(s) to whom you would like to send the configuration. The default subject is “ABC Log Group Config Export.” If you wish, you may change this to help make the information easier to identify for the recipient. You can also add any additional notes for the recipient in the body of the email. The email will be sent from the default email account that is associated with the handheld device you are using.
Please note: configurations that use the special characters: ", ', &, within it's group, individual, or behavior names will not import successfully. A future update will resolve this incompatibility.

To export an individual’s configuration click on the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the “List of Individuals” screen. Duplicating Group Configuration:
To duplicate a group’s configuration click on the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the “Group List” screen. Select the group whose configuration you wish to duplicate by tapping its name (note: do not tap the red button beside the name of the group, that button is used for deleting the group). You will be taken to the “Edit” screen.
At the bottom left corner of the screen tap the “Duplicate Group Config” button.
A menu will pop up asking you if you wish to import the group. Click on the “Import” button to duplicate the configuration.
You will be taken to a screen that shows a list of the folders contained within the app. Choose folder in which you wish to put the group configuration by tapping on the folder’s name. After you have duplicated and imported the group’s configuration, you can change the name of the group by following the steps outlined under “Editing/Deleting a Group.” Please note: When you duplicate a group configuration, only the individuals and behaviors are duplicated. Previously recorded data for the group are not duplicated.

To duplicate an individual’s configuration click on the “Edit” button at the top right corner of the “List of Individuals” screen. Select the individual whose configuration you wish to duplicate by tapping its name (note: do not tap the red button beside the name of the individual, that button is used for deleting the individual).
You will be taken to the “Edit” screen. At the bottom left corner of the screen tap the “Duplicate Person Config” button.
A menu will pop up asking you if you wish to import the individual. Click on the “Import” button to duplicate the configuration. If you do not wish to duplicate the configuration tap the "Cancel Button."

Previously recorded data for the individual are not duplicated.
